Exotic Car Rental and Private Chauffeur for Art Basel Miami

Art Basel Miami Beach runs December 4 to 6, 2026 at the Miami Beach Convention Center, with VIP preview days on December 2 and 3. Most of our exotic car rental bookings for Art Basel come from people who have not yet worked out that Art Basel is one fair out of more than twenty, and that the rest of Miami Art Week is scattered across five neighborhoods on both sides of Biscayne Bay.

That is the part first-timers underestimate. The main fair is on Miami Beach. NADA is in Wynwood. Art Miami is in Edgewater. Pinta is in Coconut Grove. AfriKin is in North Miami. Seeing three fairs in a day means crossing a causeway twice, in one of the busiest traffic weeks of the Miami year.

This guide maps where every fair actually is, what the free transport options cover, and how people who do Art Week properly get around.

Where the Fairs Actually Are — Miami Art Week 2026

Miami Beach

  • Art Basel Miami Beach — Miami Beach Convention Center · December 4–6, VIP preview December 2–3
  • Design Miami — Convention Center Drive at 19th Street · December 1–6
  • Untitled Art — Ocean Drive at 12th Street · December 2–6, VIP preview December 1
  • InScope — Ocean Drive at 8th Street · December 1–6 (the new fair from the team behind SCOPE Art Show)
  • Aqua Art Miami — Aqua Hotel, South Beach · December 2–6
  • INK Miami Art Fair — Suites of Dorchester · December 2–6

Wynwood

  • NADA Miami — Ice Palace Studios · December 1–5
  • Red Dot Miami and Spectrum Miami — Mana Wynwood · December 2–6

Edgewater and Downtown

  • Art Miami and CONTEXT Art Miami — One Herald Plaza · December 1–6

Coconut Grove

  • Pinta Miami — The Hangar · December 3–6

North Miami

  • AfriKin Art Fair — Maison AfriKin · November 29 to December 6

Look at that spread. Miami Beach to Wynwood is a causeway crossing. Wynwood to Coconut Grove is most of the way through the city. North Miami is another twenty minutes north of Wynwood on a good day, and Art Week is not a good day.

The Free Options, and What They Actually Cover

Miami runs a free water taxi and shuttle program during Art Week, and it is genuinely useful for one specific journey: Miami Beach to Downtown.

Boats run between Maurice Gibb Memorial Park (1790 Purdy Avenue, Miami Beach) and Venetian Marina & Yacht Club (1635 North Bayshore Drive, Miami), roughly every 10 to 15 minutes, from 10am to midnight. If your day is Convention Center in the morning and Art Miami in the afternoon, that is the best way to do it — you skip the causeway entirely and the ride is the nicest twenty minutes of your day.

Also free, and worth knowing:

  • Miami Beach Trolley — runs year-round, covers Miami Beach itself
  • Freebee — free on-demand electric shuttles, also year-round, useful for short hops
  • Citi Bike — stations throughout Miami Beach and Wynwood

What none of them cover: Wynwood to Coconut Grove. Miami Beach to North Miami. A late dinner in the Design District after a Mana Wynwood opening. Getting to a collector’s residence in Bal Harbour. Anything with a schedule of your own.

Why Parking Is the Wrong Thing to Plan Around

Most Art Week advice starts with where to park near the Convention Center. That is solving the smallest version of the problem.

Parking on Miami Beach in the first week of December is scarce and slow at any price, and if your whole week is on the Beach you may not need a car at all — the Trolley and Freebee handle it. But the moment your itinerary includes Wynwood, Edgewater, Coconut Grove or the Design District, the question changes from “where do I park” to “how do I cross this city five times in four days on my own schedule.”

That is where rideshare pricing during Art Week stops being an annoyance and starts being a real number, and where waiting for a car at 11pm outside Mana Wynwood becomes the memory of your evening.

How Art Week Clients Actually Do It

Auto Boutique Rental delivers to your hotel or residence and collects when you leave. Exotic car rental for Art Basel works nothing like an airport counter — no depot, no queue, no returning anything. For Art Week specifically, that means:

  • The car is at your hotel before the fairs open. Faena, 1 Hotel South Beach, the EDITION, the Setai, Four Seasons Surf Club — we coordinate with the valet, so it is there when you want it and parked when you do not.
  • You cross on your own schedule. Wynwood at 11am, Convention Center at 2pm, Design District for dinner. No surge, no waiting, no explaining Ice Palace Studios to a driver.
  • Luggage and acquisitions fit. If you are flying home with work, an SUV matters more than a convertible.
  • We collect from wherever you finish. Your hotel valet, a residence, or the airport — see our one-way exotic car rental guide if your trip continues past Miami.

Drive Yourself, or Be Driven

There are two ways to do Art Week, and most of our clients end up using both.

Drive yourself for the full days. Fairs open late morning and the last openings run past 10pm. If you are crossing between Miami Beach, Wynwood and Edgewater on your own schedule for four days straight, a car in your own hands is more flexible, and for long days it costs less than booking a driver by the hour.

Take a chauffeur for the nights that matter. The VIP preview on December 2. A gallery dinner in the Design District. An opening at Mana Wynwood where the valet line is thirty cars deep and you have had a glass in your hand since four in the afternoon. Those are the evenings where handing the keys to someone else is the entire point — and the Convention Center drop-off is a different experience when you are not the one looking for a space afterwards.

Our private chauffeur service is booked hourly, with a three-hour minimum on most vehicles:

  • Cadillac Escalade — from $179/hr
  • Mercedes Sprinter Limo — from $250/hr, four-hour minimum. For gallery teams and larger parties.
  • Mercedes S580 — from $295/hr
  • Cadillac Escalade, Armored — from $299/hr, six-hour minimum
  • Mercedes-Maybach SUV — from $395/hr

Note that the chauffeur fleet is separate from the rental fleet above — chauffeur-driven vehicles are the Escalade, S580, Maybach SUV, Sprinter Limo and armored Escalade.

The combination most Art Week clients land on: a car for the week, and a chauffeur for the two or three evenings where traffic, valet lines and a glass of wine make driving the wrong idea.

The Best Exotic Car Rentals for Art Basel Week

Lamborghini Urus — From $1,199/day

Our most requested vehicle for Art Basel arrivals. Four seats, real luggage space, and the presence that matters when the valet line at Faena is six cars deep. The Urus does the whole week — fairs by day, dinners by night — without compromise.

Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG — From $695/day

The other Art Week default. Unmistakable on Collins Avenue, comfortable crossing the causeway, and the most photographed SUV in Miami during the first week of December.

Rolls-Royce Cullinan — From $1,495/day

For collectors and gallery principals. Five passengers in the quietest cabin we deliver, coach doors at the Convention Center entrance, and enough room that nothing travels on anyone’s lap.

Range Rover HSE — From $695/day

The understated choice. Full-size luxury, room for five with luggage, and a cabin quiet enough to take calls between fairs. Draws no attention at all, which some clients specifically want during Art Week.

Cadillac Escalade ESV — From $499/day

For groups and gallery teams. Seven seats and 41.5 cubic feet behind the third row, which means a team and its materials move together rather than in three cars.

Chevrolet Corvette C8 Convertible — From $399/day

The value pick if it is two of you and the week is mostly Miami Beach. Mid-engine V8, retractable hardtop, and December in Miami is exactly the weather for it.

Frequently Asked Questions — Exotic Car Rental and Chauffeur for Art Basel

When is Art Basel Miami Beach 2026?

Art Basel Miami Beach runs December 4 to 6, 2026 at the Miami Beach Convention Center, with VIP preview days on December 2 and 3. The wider Miami Art Week runs longer — some fairs open December 1 and AfriKin Art Fair starts November 29.

How do you get around during Miami Art Week?

It depends entirely on whether your itinerary leaves Miami Beach. If you are only seeing Art Basel, Design Miami and Untitled Art, the Miami Beach Trolley and Freebee shuttles are free and sufficient. If your week includes NADA in Wynwood, Art Miami in Edgewater, or Pinta in Coconut Grove, you are crossing the city repeatedly and a car you control is the difference between seeing four fairs a day and seeing two.

Is there a free shuttle between Miami Beach and Downtown during Art Week?

Yes. A free water taxi runs between Maurice Gibb Memorial Park at 1790 Purdy Avenue on Miami Beach and Venetian Marina and Yacht Club at 1635 North Bayshore Drive in Miami, roughly every 10 to 15 minutes from 10am to midnight. It bypasses the causeway traffic entirely and is the best way to pair a Convention Center morning with an Art Miami afternoon.

Where are the Miami Art Week satellite fairs?

They are spread across five areas. On Miami Beach: Art Basel at the Convention Center, Design Miami on Convention Center Drive, Untitled Art on Ocean Drive at 12th Street, InScope on Ocean Drive at 8th Street, Aqua Art Miami at the Aqua Hotel and INK at the Suites of Dorchester. In Wynwood: NADA at Ice Palace Studios, plus Red Dot and Spectrum at Mana Wynwood. In Edgewater: Art Miami and CONTEXT at One Herald Plaza. In Coconut Grove: Pinta Miami at The Hangar. In North Miami: AfriKin at Maison AfriKin.

Is parking difficult during Art Basel?

Parking on Miami Beach in the first week of December is scarce and slow regardless of what you are willing to pay. If your whole week is on the Beach, the free Trolley and Freebee shuttles may serve you better than driving. The case for a car is crossing the bay — once Wynwood, Edgewater, Coconut Grove or the Design District are on your list, parking stops being the deciding factor.

Do you deliver to Art Basel hotels?

Yes. We deliver to hotels across Miami Beach and Miami including Faena, 1 Hotel South Beach, the EDITION, the Setai and Four Seasons Surf Club, coordinating with the valet so the car is ready when you are. We also deliver to private residences and gallery venues.

How far in advance should I book for Art Basel week?

Sooner is always better — we recommend contacting us the minute your travel is set. Art Week is one of the busiest periods on our calendar, so book 6 to 8 weeks ahead for Art Basel. Specific vehicles cannot be guaranteed on short notice during event weeks. That said, we are built for flexibility, and if you are calling last minute, call anyway — we have delivered a car within 60 minutes of the first message.

Which car is best for Art Week?

An SUV, for most clients. The Lamborghini Urus and Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG are our two most requested for Art Basel — presence at the valet, space for four and their luggage, and comfortable for repeated causeway crossings. If you are flying home with work you have acquired, the Cadillac Escalade ESV has 41.5 cubic feet behind the third row.

Should I rent a car or book a chauffeur for Art Basel week?

Most clients use both. Self-drive suits the long fair days, when you are crossing between Miami Beach, Wynwood and Edgewater on your own schedule from late morning through the evening openings. A chauffeur suits the nights — the VIP preview, gallery dinners, and any evening that ends somewhere with a valet line. A car for the week plus a chauffeur for two or three evenings is the most common Art Week booking we take.

How much is a chauffeur for Art Basel in Miami?

Our private chauffeur service is booked hourly, from $179 per hour for a Cadillac Escalade, with a three-hour minimum on most vehicles. The Mercedes Sprinter Limo is from $250 per hour with a four-hour minimum, the Mercedes S580 from $295 per hour, the armored Cadillac Escalade from $299 per hour with a six-hour minimum, and the Mercedes-Maybach SUV from $395 per hour. Hourly rates do not include gratuity.

Can I rent a car for just the Art Basel weekend?

Yes — our minimum is one day, and plenty of Art Week clients book Thursday to Sunday. Weekly rates offer better value if you are in Miami for the full fair run from December 1.
